SF is just weird and expensive, but not quite Hawaii expensive. They do have good, fresh seafood restaurants.

SF is just weird and expensive, but not quite Hawaii expensive. They do have good, fresh seafood restaurants.

I love the city, but hate the driving. Tried to go to Chinatown but couldn't find a place to park for two hours. Had my first panic attack on the narrow highways that snake through the sky. Now that Uber is a thing, that's the only way I would go back.

why did you not use their public transportation.
same modle buses as chiraqi but A WORLD different.
Their lines are fruit named/color amd smell like it.
I got on the red strawberry bus route and that bus was super clean, cleaner than disney, and smells of strawberries the entire ride.

I rented a car one day to go out to Napa Valley. Then the wife and I drove around to see some of the sights. At one point I came to a stop sign that was at the crest of a hill...you look left, you look right, you look forward, and you couldn't see any of the other cars because of the slope. I remember turning my wife and saying, "I think it's my turn," and just went. It was nuts.

And boy if you want to make a fortune own a transmission or brake shop. With all those hills, all that stuff will wear out fast.

meh.. never listen to your elders.
i was in the hotel district and took it from their all the way to the pier to eat and then back with a stop at chinatown as well.
it was mainly tourist on my bus.

lots of homeless on the streets en route to the pier.
at night the streets were filled with "ladies" of the night. not sure if they were female or males dresses as females.

Yeah, we drove up through Napa also. My mom has a friend who lived at the top of a mountain. The steep winding roads going up/down to and from his house made me nuts. He lost his home a few years ago in the wildfires.
