Temperature on the cast floor is about 130.
    Humidity at 70 %
    Calculates out to 336 deg.

Of course, the cast floor is an area I'm "more likely" to be. Sort of an "average".

I had to change a pipe on a temperature sensor for the liquid steel. That was a lot hotter.

Then a joystick for a robot arm went flaky. It's next to the ladle of steel. Outside of the ladle is 800 deg. Don't touch.
The joystick isn't nearly that. But if you touch it without a glove, you'll let go real fast.

Right now, I'm in my AC'd shop.
    Hugging the vent.
Hopefully, in 8 hours, I'll still be here.
But if the last couple days are indicators, that won't happen.

    Just a little longer.

    846 days till I get 30 years.
With the overtime I'm working, the house will be paid off. Even though I've had months of sick leave. I'm making double payments.

So at 30, it just depends on the economy, and what kind of job I can get.
I can't get social security, or withdraw from 401k at that age.
But with the pension, I can get a job that pays less, but isn't trying to kill me.

Yesterday I was so miserable and focused on trying to work on the joystick, I walked under an empty ladle of steel being carried out. That's about 180,000 pounds empty.
I didn't notice till the transfer siren lit off, and I looked around, then up.

Leo pup had a bad night with the cough. Almost took him to the emergency vet. This morning our vet added a steroid to his antibiotic. Hopefully that will help.
Really hoping for the best .there were days the dogs were too smart to take meds and had to force them. No amount of trickery would work with them on some meds.
