Well, in another hour I'll have 40.
And only 40 more hours to go.

    And someone made me unhappy.
Told me I can't get the pension till I'm 59.
I don't know if he's just messing with me, or its true. :xmad:

    3.25 years, I can do.
    8.25, I don't think so.

I saw gunbunnies once at that military surplus store off summit which I don't think is there anymore, and a handful of times at the Lake Fairgrounds Gun Show.

Check with HR or your Union. Many plans have early retirement at age 55. Never heard of one for age 59. Maybe the pension vests at 55 but wont pay 'til 59? (Not that that makes sense, but...)

Got some sun today. Pool day with 7 adults & 5 kiddos. Good times.

We'd of went to Act's pool, but I hear it won't be open for 5 more months. ;)

    It's looking like May.
I HAVE to remember, I don't have any time in June, July, part of August.

    Asked my retirement question.
Looks like I just need 30 years.

Finished my probationary hours at work on Monday just in time to get my green stripes off because we just got 4 new guys on Tuesday. It's nice not being "the new guy" anymore and having some seniority on someone.

It's "cute" you think you have seniority.

Remember, the last batch of lay offs, were people under 3 years.
So.. you might wait for 5 years before breathing easier.

On that note, we have a seniority list in my shop. It's nice seeing my name so high. And seeing people above me, that I know are retiring, some this month, some this year.

When I asked a question about retirement on a union webpage, I apparently sparked the interest of a BUNCH of disgruntled people also interested in leaving.
