Session 1:
Safety discussion. Handling of 2 10/22's with a scope & red dot, 22/45 Lite, Glock 19, and cowboy action .22 revolver.
Older brother= Fortnight just got real
Reluctant gun mama=way more comfortable and confident, leaning toward accepting
Goddaughter (9 year old)= natural
Session 2:
Range day Thursday.
(AK & AR on the back burner as a demonstration or for next level shooter...rooting for the later)
Good day yesterday. Goddaughter chose to stick with the 10/22. Her brother alternated between .22 Lite pistol & the 10/22. Their mom ran the 10/22, but mostly fired the .22 Lite. Got her to shoot the G19 and then a magazine of .223 a 100 yds. They shot 370+ rounds quite well. I asked my goddaughter if she'd like to come do this again where I got a thumbs up, nods, and a big, bright smile. They were texting videos and pics to my buddy who was sitting at work in meetings.
Pretty sure he is jealous, and I might need to rectify that.
