I'm picking up two teenage girls on the southside early Sunday and driving them to Missouri for a fencing tournament. As much as I love snow and hope for Feets and Feets of it, I am hoping low winds keep the blowing and drifting down to a minimum so the highways are clear... or clear enough..

I used to pick up a teen girl to bring her to Church. I usually had my wife or one of my daughters with me. Once I had no one with me on a Wednesday night, coming from Hewgwich to Hammond, we got stopped by a train and it did not move. I finally drove East to get arround it and had to go over a mile. When we finally got to Church we were really late.

I have shivers go up my spine when I think of the accusations that could have been made and how it would ruined my life.

    No.
But sitting in Ford for awhile getting my tire sensors checked, and they were showing doom and gloom on the TV.
Motivated me to get off my butt, and start taking down Christmas lights finally. 1/2 way through my vacation.
    Hopefully finish tomorrow.

Ill be helping, just let me know.

And this is why I travel with my wife when I take fencers on trips (even if I have parental permission) and in this case one of the two teen girls is of legal age and also a paid coach at the high school. The other is a minor and a student at that same high school.

Fencing? Doesn't that involve a lot of thrusts, parries and ripostes?

Cuts, parries, ripostes and some remises too. The occasional flunge. And lots of lunges.

In scouts, leaders are told NOT to do that.

Well, thanks to the help of repeter, mom, and dad, the lights are down and stored.
I have some stuff on the porch needs to go in the garage, but that's okay.
Everything is in the shed that needs to be there.
