Yeah, old Doc Carmody used to tell me that Aspirin and caffeine was the best thing. A couple of aspirin slugged down with a couple of cups of coffee usually took care of the pain (but not the nausea... you need a cast-iron stomach to handle that combo).

    I don't know about that.
Excedrin never did anything for me.
Excedrin migraine helped, if I took it early in the migraine cycle.
Here you go. I used to get help from Excedrin when I was younger. I learned a long time ago to read the ingredients on medicine bottles. This one always amused me because the Excedrin said you could take it every four hours and the Migraine said once a day

    Excedrin Migraine ingredients:
    250 mg of Aspirin.
    250 mg of acetaminophen.
    65 mg of caffeine.

EXCEDRIN Extra-Strength Pain Reliever (Bristol-Myers) Active Ingredients: Each tablet, caplet, or geltab contains
    Acetaminophen 250 mg,
    Aspirin 250 mg, and
    Caffeine 65 mg.

Placebo effect, it "says" it is for migraines. I am not talking about the weakness, but the strength if the mind.
