Spoken like a true socialist. Give me, give me, give me. How about we just take responsibility for ourselves. And we should take care of the truly disabled.

But let's stop all the 'assistance' which is usually not much more than taking lots of our money and giving some pittance of it back to us to make us feel grateful to the handout we gave to ourselves.
    That's just CRAZY talk

Just back from Grangers (Downtown Hobart) for Daughters 13th Bday dinner.

They've got excellent food. Went with a small prime rib dinner this time. 24oz of pure goodness and what I'd consider a reasonable price @ $28
Never been have heard good things though

That's our 3rd time there. Daughter loves the filet bites (appetizer menu) and adds a side of tater tots.

Wife likes the filet bites as well as their shrimp scampi. She had a steak salad today that easily had 5oz of steak on it. She really enjoyed it

I've had their pulled pork sandwich. Definitely good. Then tried the cheese stuffed burger with bacon and egg on pretzel roll. Phenomenal. Tonight was the prime rib and excellent as well. Did the fresh cut fries everytime

Oh, that did it - now I'm very hungry.

BS, do you have a whole house generator? Just curious.

    .
No, getting the basement done with the 1st year of purchase was priority 1. They finished right before covid. Then everyone decided to get one (Plus supply chain issues) causing the old supply and demand thing. At first I was told I'd have to wait a year and put $4K down. What if he croaked, went belly up, etc. So I opted to wait.

Mowed the front and side yards today after work. Thought I was going to get away with trimming the edges, but once I got into it, spots were a foot high. Took my annual rock to the shin. Found a missed Easter egg. Fired up the zero turn. Back yard and woods will be fine probably for 3 more weeks. Get some deep roots!

Want to know who has the best prime rib in Indiana... The restaurant at the Muncie Airport. Now, I don't know if they still exist (used to be called Hangers) pre covid. Took Mom there and she still raves about it to this day.

Pumps on 12 had a seriously delicious prime rib. Unfortunately they're long gone

When I mention Hangers, I used to work at the Sherman House in Batesville by Mom & Dad's back in the day, where we started cooking prime rib on Wednesday for Friday and Saturday only, and wasn't even close.
