I would go to M&S's but a baseless PO prevents me from enjoying the hobby till March 2024. Thats barring the ex trying to get it extended with which she has no evidence to show it would be.

4 days in the house and painting has begun. Washer and dryer come next friday and then its a matter of moving the furniture in the 31st.
Good to hear your getting back to a dull roar.

Strange? Wonder what happened to go from attending monthly meet and shoot parties to not even visiting the forum??
The meet and shoot was probably a big reason they even browsed the forum. Once that wasn't the same, they had no reason to come here. Some drop in every now and then.

Indianapolis DNR made a rule "no carry on the range"

A few of us still go. Best meet was about two years ago, about 30 members.
Yep, that was the final nail. They had started restricting things before that too.

Many of us haven't been back period since that change though.

Grenade Blast Kills Man, Injures Two Teens
Sometime before 6:39 PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Department police officers responded to a reported explosion in Lakes of the Four Seasons, according to Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr.
A family at a home in the 3400 block of W. Lakeshore Drive had been going through a grandfather’s belongings when they found a hand grenade. Someone reportedly pulled the pin on the device and it detonated.
An adult male was found unresponsive at the scene and was later declared deceased. His two children, ages 15 and 18 were transported to an area hospital with shrapnel wounds, Martinez said.
The Porter County Bomb Squad was called to secure the area and determine whether there may be additional explosive devices.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives and CSI unit are investigating.

Apparently lost/abandoned kids in Crown Point is not a new thing:

Unfortunately you can probably find many other instances of children being poorly cared for in just about any location.

I was watching a girlfriend's kids, went to the bathroom.
    Come out, both kids gone.
I saw the window screen knocked out.
Both kids climbed a chair and exited the basement level apartment.
I ran out the door, and they were trying to make their escape running thru the parking lot.

    It doesn't take that long.

Kid slept over at his buddy's and has been in the pool all day. Got a ton of little projects knocked out. 1st hummingbird of the season visited some flowers. Bunch of orioles visited the feeder killing the grape jelly. Glad Menards sells it for $1.59 because they go to town on it. Wife got things planted and organized. She went to pick up what has to be a tired, pruney kid.

You have to be quick or they can get out of range. :)
