Be careful with impacts. They break stuff if you're not careful.I think I have decided to definitely get a kit of tools. I need a drill, circular saw, maybe sawsall, perhaps one of those high torque impacts.
Only referring to a "starter" set. You can do a lot of the Sawzall jobs with a circular saw and a multi tool, but you can do a heck of lot more with a multi tool then a Sawzall.Multi tools are great but absolutely not a replacement for a Sawzall.
You Def need both
They are great at stripping screws. The drivers shouldn't be too bad at breaking stuff. The impact wrenches on the other hand....Be careful with impacts. They break stuff if you're not careful.
Nah. Just a weekend pass.Friday morning and eight hours till freedom.
Hanging doors is my Achilles heel lol it’s a nightmare for me too many angles and such to keep squared upHas anyone here ever installed a pre-hung exterior door? Is it really as simple as it looks? Anything to watch out for?
Don't tell @melensdad that!I don't get it either. We don't sword fight anymore, unless homosexual relationship.
hopefully it will be square, but the doorway won't be. Make sure it is level and nail/screw thru your shims to keep from jacking it out of square. Some go easy and some make you feel like you are chasing your tailHas anyone here ever installed a pre-hung exterior door? Is it really as simple as it looks? Anything to watch out for?
