When the kid and I went in to vote, I was the only game in town. No one walking in or out the entire time. The weight of my vote can be felt.

Same here. After work about 4:10. Not another single voter in sight. 4% of all of Lake County voted.

The results JEDI posted were the early votes.

My post includes the UPDATED totals as of 7:41pm tonight.

There will be more updates as the evening progresses.

No doubt at 1am there will also be a pause in the count, and then sometime later everything will change

Yes but I don't expect, based on history it'll be a whole lot better in the end. With e day votes rolling in its up to 8% registered voters. I'd be shocked if goes over 25% of the 300k + registered voters in Lake County

Highland is now 1% against the tax increase
Munster is now 72% in favor of the tax increase
Lowell is still 65% solidly against the tax increase
