Ha ha yea Ive shot a Surgeon they are SWEET! and a little out of my price range right now lol. I think Im going to get a Savage VLP DBM in 243 for the time being to tide me over till I can do a rebarrel later on. Im really liking the reviews on the rifles. Just wont be able to shoot the real heavy stuff like the 107-115gr bullets but can use the 95grainers to get me going.

Well I know its not a fancy caliber like we have been talking about. But I went with another rifle in 308. I put a Savage Mod 10 HS Precision on layaway today. Since I already reload for the caliber, I can keep cost down a little that way. An later on when funds permit an my skill improves Ill just rebarrel this one to one of the other calibers we have been talking about. Cant wait to get that rig home!
