Some are silly, yes. This one had impeccable timing (waited a bit), used a different subforum, posted about ducks using a duck username, and even put "ducked" in it, and I still didn't see it coming.

i now increase my vote to 11/13.

^THIS! i thought this was easily one of the best spoof threads. When I first read it, it was okay, then I went back and read the original which made me realize the spoof was pretty good, but then I re-read the spoof and absolutely lost it! Well-written, witty, and multiple pun usage that I didn't realize until the second time through it, earn it a 12/13 in my book on whatever screwed up 13 point scale hoosierdoc is using. Haha.
