Better to have it an not need it, than need it and not have it. If you've ever gotten a flat tire and installed a spare to get you to your destination and then the tire shop, you'll likely understand this. There is also the concept that at some point all mechanical devices fail at somepoint, having a solution to that may save your life if it happens at the wrong moment. Then consider should you reach the point of needing to use lethal force there is a chance that you may be involved in physical confrontation first, if this results in a ground battle or injury to you having other weapons aside from your primary firearm (BUG, knife, OC, etc.) may make the difference of being able to separate the bad guy from you and make accessing that primary firearm an option in the first place; or having a weapon at all, if concealment needs make it so that you can only access your primary firearm with the support hand. If you are capable with it, see a potential need or logical use for it, and can comfortably carry it, and should you CC, it meets your desired level of concealment, then by all means I think the more options one has the better; and the increased odds of them winning the fight. If you're in that fight you don't want it to be fair you want to have every advantage. Between increased drug use and addiction to chemicals that numb or remove altogether the sensation of pain, flash mobs and frequently armed criminals; not only is there a need to carry, but there are times where there is comfort in knowing you have the tools available to handle situations that might overwhelm you if you had a 6 shot revolver and no reloads.i see people posting pictures with 2 guns, 3 flashlights, 6 clips, 4 knifes and more kydex than i have ever seen. i understand the whole "be prepared thing", but when is enough enough? 3 clips for a firearm with a 14+1 capability is just overkill. seems like no one has faith in just one piece of equipment.
