The third red flag came in how much Weissmann communicated to Firstash’s lawyers about his hopes for the Ukrainian oligarch’s testimony.
Prosecutors in plea deals typically ask a defendant for a written proffer of what they can provide in testimony and identify the general topics that might interest them. But Weissmann appeared to go much further in a July 7, 2017, meeting with Firtash’s American lawyers and FBI agents, sharing certain private theories of the nascent special counsel’s investigation into Trump, his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Russia, according to defense memos.
For example, Firtash’s legal team wrote that Weissmann told them he believed a company called Bayrock, tied to former FBI informant Felix Sater, had “made substantial investments with Donald Trump’s companies” and that prosecutors were looking for dirt on Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Weissmann told the Firtash team “he believes that Manafort and his people substantially coordinated their activities with Russians in order to win their work in Ukraine,” according to the defense memos. And the Mueller deputy said he “believed” a Ukrainian group tied to Manafort “was merely a front for illegal criminal activities in Ukraine,” and suggested a “Russian secret service authority” may have been involved in influencing the 2016 U.S. election, the defense memos show.
Weissmann’s private observations and sharing of prosecutor’s theories went beyond what prosecutors normally do in proffer negotiations and risked planting ideas that could lead the witness to craft his testimony, according to legal experts I consulted.
To me that was the nail in the Democrats' impeachment coffin. However, I'm sure folks on the other side will ignore that completely.
First the truth slowly came out about the "much respected by both sides" Comey. Now the same with Mueller, who ran the FBI for how long?
How can you trust any of these mother****ers? How can you trust the FBI?
It's not end, and they continued to say that. To paraphrase MANY of the socialists up there - "it's up to us to keep searching......because NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW*".
I gagged every time I heard that scripted sound bite.
* Except illegal aliens, Democrat politicians/candidates, Antifa, etc, etc.
It’s quite telling that the oligarch and his attorneys appear to have more integrity by not playing along with the scheme than the lead hatchet man on Mueller’s team.
Some takeaways from the hearing:
-the president was not exonerated as he stated
-Barr misrepesented the report in his brief
-the president's written responses to Muller's questions were generally untruthful
-The Trump campaign knew the Russians were assisting them, but failed to notify federal authorities
-indicting the president was never an option
-it is possible the president may face charges after he leaves office
-the Mueller team did not investigate collusion
-Trump was doing business with Russia during and after the campaign, contrary to what he has repeatedly stated in the past
-Mueller did not interview for the FBI Director position
That's what was said at the Mueller Congressional, and I'm just passing it along. I'm sure the competing tribes will make of it what they will. The question I'm more interested in, is if amongst the people in the middle that listened, are they now inclined to lean one way or the other?

How you see this is of course your opinion. All I saw was a stammering buffoon who had zero clue what was in the damned report.
No knock but I am confused.
My take away was different.
Mueller has no idea what its actually within the report he signed off on.
Mueller lied at the hearings, his meeting with Barr....or both.
Mueller knew about how this started and under the false pretense but neglected his duties.
Mueller is an absolute failure since he denies knowing Fusion GPS (or did he lie about that also?)
.....so much more.
This was a failed attempt from the anti-trump socialists (demoncrats) who tried to gather momentum. In their eyes Mueller failed them but they will "create" substance where there is none and spin it forever. It is obviously a witch hunt. Mueller was a letter head and the anti trump (lead by the DNC and Hillary, authorized by Obama) went after him with the intentions of using fake information to derail his election efforts and then try to remove him from office.
That's my take-away.
Interesting that allegedly Epstein tried to commit suicide the day after the failed hearings......think about that!
That's not how "I" see it. That's what was said. I'm just the messenger sitting here with waiting for the responses.
What was said was in no way convincing and I am one waiting on all of this to play out with those who misused their authority to be held accountable. The crap stream is deep dark and full of peril.
