I was looking for a S&W model 19 and there was a nice one that was obviously not NIB and he was not willing to budge at $800. I figured he must have been smoking something. I want one but not that bad.

EVERYTHING is overpriced at the gun show. The mark-up is the $12 you have to pay for the priveledge of buying their stuff (parking and admission).

$800 Springfield 1873 Trapdoor with a nearly broken through stock.

Not really overpriced, but some K98s that were either cleaned RC's or old and very poorly kept actions in RC stocks. The even felt weird to touch like they had been cleaned with something funky. Worse I have seen.

I only saw a few things priced decently and with these prices, it might not be a bad idea to go Sunday and dicker on price. I bet you could get many dealers to come down, especially the private sales.

I have read that the smell can get bad, but some guy cut one right behind me and destroyed the area. He didn't even seem to think twice about it. Wow! :n00b:

I had a stuffy nose yesterday and didn't take anything for it so I didn't have to worry about the smell:rockwoot:

As a bell weather, I noticed WASRs were well over $400 again. Weren't they back to $385 or so not long ago?

Under the common easy gun to buy, I saw a Bersa Thunder .380 new for $339. They can be found everywhere for $250-270 :dunno:

Saw a bone stock sks for 599, wasn't the paratrooper or model that takes ak mags. Also saw a 9mm highpoint for 300. Got me a heck of a deal at 21st century though.

Unique powder, 4 pounds for $74.00. Powder Valley has it for $54.00. Granted you have to pay the hazmat, but your 4/5th of the way there on 1 item. Buy some additional powder or primer items and save a ton of money.

I saw a guy pay $$$ for a fake Raven holster, just to stare at the salesperson's boobs. Yes, she was a female. I don't know the price of the holster, but that was a lot of money for a fully-clothed peep show.
