Today the Martinsville Sportsman's Conservation Club added "furniture" to our just built shooting shelter on the 300 M range project. 8 shooting tables/seats plus two open bays were left open for prone, kneeling or standing shooters. 36 feet if seating was added to the rear of the shelter plus ample space for rifles in two racks.





Martinsville's own "Decks, Docks & More" did the wood working for this shelter and added additional wood structures to all our existing shelters in the past couple of weeks. We are very pleased with the results. We still don't have an opening date, but we are getting closer by the week.

Very impressive to say the least, but for all of us non-members its like " WTH does it take to get into a place this this " ?

Though it is no guarantee...22 folks who pulled an all nighter at our club gate on New Year's eve DID get memberships for 2013...those that arrived after 5 AM New Year's day unfortunately came up short as we only had 22 openings and over 150 cars lined up for them. We will announce the number of actual 2014 openings via our website towards the end of Dec....you can then judge whether the effort/wait is worth driving out to the club for.
