Bull. You don't get to define anyone less extreme than your own politics as un-American.

Yes I do. And I also know that you are so out of touch with just who is in alignment politically it is beyond gut busting funny. The democrat party is the party of big corporations and the wealth. Heck, Carmel is turning democrat. Get out of the past and look at reality…

Lacks any view of reality. Why bother taking off the rose colored glasses of the past to see the harsh truth?

The problem, amigo, is I don't define myself by a party. I am not a "joiner". I don't have to buy democrat radical extremism any more than I have to buy political extremism on the right. Both sides are wrong.

But, some of the people here on INGO are only comfortable with labels. If you're that guy, fine.
I care more about objective reality than labels. If JFK were alive today he would align more with the Republican party than his. Why is that? The Dem party has been coopted by extremists of the socialist\ communist\hard left variety, and they will continue to control it unless the more moderate portion of their base, which you claim to be, excise them from the party. I don't think that can happen because those folks like you are now a minority in your party. How bad does it have to get before you say you can't support them anymore? The Republican of today is more like the Dem of your younger years than the people you vote for now. By the way, I don't think much of Republicans either.

Well dude, I didn't make that claim, or cite anything like that, so put away that strawman. If others are talking about aspirin, then confront them; don't use me as a proxy. Plus it seems like a low hanging fruit argument. Obviously you have some list of medications in mind, and you picked the one item you could dispute.

My stance is that getting vaccinated no more supports abortion than putting Aunt Jamima on your pancakes supports slavery.

Edit: thinking about, if using these medicines or vaccines actually created a demand for abortions, I'd be on board - that thought is ghastly.

But it's a cell line that's decades old. I just can't help but think it's pharisaical. It's like the Levite passing the injured man on the side of the road - "I'd help end this pandemic, but those vaccines are unclean."

And if someone says, "well that's not the only reason not to get vaccinated", then this whole abortion issue is just a smokescreen. My connection it's that the abortion issue seems to only show up when there's other motives.
Isn’t matters of faith up to the individual to decide for themselves? You judge it one way. Others will judge for themselves.

As far as the list, I picked the most common, which would tend to be the strongest point for your side of it—if it were valid. Those people who believe that it violates their conscience to take the vaccine, have no reason to be conflicted with taking aspirin, or tums, or many others on the list. As I said, it’s a specious claim.

This woman brags she has science degrees and will be getting her 3 kids vaccinated as soon as they’re eligible. She gets them vaccinated, her son gets myocarditis.

Nah. Can’t be true. JK and KF told me the vaccine is approved by god himself, and are safe and effective.

    Pathetic.

According to this story, she had some major regrets. Warning for people that don't want Alex to give you a story of what happened:@ya:

This again? It was bull**** the first time around, it’s still bull****. Ivermectin isn’t on the approved list in Japan. The same vaccines that they’ve been administering are still on the list. Maybe the “firstnews”might be a little less fibby. Because thesecondnews.com is lying their asses off.

You might want to fact check the story. Hint: try AP - Ivermectin Japan

Best to go straight to the source. The Japanese government has English translations. Hint: Ivermectin is still not on the approved list of treatments. Three vaccines are still on the list as approved by the PMD Act for emergency use.

Interesting concept - individuals can determine right and wrong. A bit moral relativistic, no?
Time yourself waiving a rainbow flag outside an evangelical church before you're told you're wrong.

Nevertheless, it's academic for us, I certainly don't employ anyone, and AFAIK, you're not in the unenviable position to decide on these exemption claims.

How do you determine right and wrong?

Fact check and ap don’t belong in the same sentence ;)
You don’t need to use unreliable sources for information. But it turns out the story claiming Japan stopped using vaccines and started using Ivermectin is pure bull****.

Someone posts stuff like this and people People just accept it. And when it’s as blatantly bull**** as this story is, people should be really pissed.

You trust them enough to listen to them and read their articles, and they’re just using you. Stop feeding them. They’re just pretending to be on your side. When they lie to you that bad, they’re definitely not on your side.

Meh. I didn’t click the link and I didn’t care either way, honestly. What Japan does makes no difference to me. I’m worried about what happens here.

Also, I was just pointing out that I wouldn’t trust AP as a source of fact checking.

They may be right in this instance, but they’re hardly credible enough to be a ‘fact check’ go to. I’d trust the Babylon bee before I trusted ap or wapo.
