FTR, I made pizza WITHOUT pineapple.

St . Louis style - soon to become a staple as the dough is a quick bread with baking powder, not yeast.
And the cheese is a blend 2:1:1 white cheddar, smoked provolone, swiss.

I tried to go meatless because of my wife's high BP, but she insisted on pepperoni, which I diced.

We buy Aldi 4 meat frozen pizzas and add pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage, onions, bell pepper, 2 or 3 cheeses and place on a damp pizza pan and bake until the cheese is slightly golden. Dampening the pan allows the cheeses to melt properly and not burn the crust.

It's kind of coincidental that St. Louis has the thinest, crispiest pizza - a mere four hours away from the home of the thickest, casserole of pizzas in Chicago.
