I feel like we need a Pizza of INGO thread
I guess that's what this became
Nah. This thread serves the purpose unless it is interrupted by one of you meanies shootering someone.
We really try not to as much as possible. Back to pizza...
Sub the mushrooms for jalapenos, or banana peppers, and that sounds like a great pizza. The pineapple and pepperoni one sounds interesting too. There used to be a place near here that did a really good pizza with a BBQ sauce base. Nice and smoky, not a lot of sweet.I like all the meats, plus mushrooms. I'm not a huge pineapple fan, but a coworker orders pizza with pineapple, pepperoni and green peppers, and it's actually not too bad.

If a salad bar has those they end up making at least 1/4 of my salad.for Banana Peppers. I add those to almost everything

My wife and I have canned about a dozen quarts of Hot Banana Peppers. Haven’t tried them yet but I’m sure they will be delish. We like to add them and some Italian dressing seasoning to a beef roast in the crockpot or instapot for amazing Italian beef.
I'm not a fan of vinegary stuff, so I've never cared for banana peppers or peperoncini and the like.

My wife doesn't care for red sauce, so we try and find her one with an alfredo sauce.

I'm sorta hit and miss on onions, unless we're talking onion rings.I'd leave the mushrooms and add the banana peppers. I like those, too. And onions.
I'm a pizza lover... you have to try pretty hard, or fail epically, in order to make a "bad" pizza, IMO.
But I do have favorites... Sandy's Pizza in Ft. Branch has marinated red bell peppers that are simply pizza "magic", lol!
But yeah, it's vinegary.
As a side note, Imo's Pizza in St Louis for something completely different.
