Now that the mods have the ability to just selectively lock trouble makers out of individual threads, maybe that's cut down on the actual perma or temp bans.

definitely helps to force some to cool off without locking a thread. But I'm not sure if it's cut down yet. Too early to tell. I hope it'll cut down on the perma bans eventually.
