Was a cement pad out back by the garden when we bought the house. Then we tore down the two large decks that were on our house. What to do? Shed with semi enclosed shooting range.

The shore of wonderful Lake Michigan
Not some super cool thing like a lot of the other stuff posted here, but we were issued new bodycams (which suck). The remote for the camera is basically worn like a watch. I can't stand wearing things on my wrist, so I made a simple MOLLE mount for it. My coworkers seem to like them also. It's held tight and stays on your gear so it's one less thing to try to remember when getting ready for work. That sounds like an advertisement, but every once in a while I come with something simple that I'm kind of proud of.

Sometimes, it's the simplest things that wind up being the world's greatest inventions

Wife wanted a set of those sliding barn doors to block off the front foyer and stairs going up to the kid's rooms from the living room. Problem is with our 125 year old home, the opening is REAL wide, and it's in a corner... so they both need to open to the SAME side. As you can see from the wood door frame, with the doors sitting on the floor... in a 125 year old house... things aren't always straight & level either. Got a track and roller kit at Lowes. Had to get the rail extended at a machine shop to 11'3" with a piece welded on. Just finished making the doors. Went the cheap route seeing as I had 2 sheets of plywood left. What the hell, she says she likes them. Now to hang the whole mess soon as she decides paint or stain.

    In a blue bubble
We lost our pup 2 1/2 years ago, and it was one of my worst days.
When he left us, he took a piece of my heart with him.
I had a special connection with him, and he had such a personality.
Like all of our previous fur kids, we had him cremated.
The place sent him back in a generic tin can, and that just isn't good enough for my buddy.
We looked endlessly for an urn, that would not just fit the dimensions of the tin can, but also
be classy. We couldn't find anything we liked, that would fit the tin can, so I decided to make one.
The brass plate was completed before we even got him back, but as for the urn, I couldn't decide on a design.
I've thought about it for 2 1/2 years and suddenly, I remembered a failed box I started for the Mrs., that she loved, even though I never completed it.
The urn is made from Walnut and Hard Maple.
It isn't as perfect as I wanted it, but I think it's very fitting for a special friend.
The quarter is for reference, and excuse the pics. I never could take a decent pic.

I'll be placing Samson in his final resting place tomorrow, after the urn finish, finishes degassing.
