Looks good, not everyone can see past the mess which is good for those who can.

I have sold lots of REO's over the years, ONE stands out above all the others. IT WAS AWFUL.

The "trashout" bid was $5k or more (12+or- years ago), the contractor told me "we way under bid this one".

    And it gets better.
I stopped at the property tonight after work and heard some noise from across the cornfield behind me so I went to I introduce myself.
Turns out my neighbor is a guy that works at a local vender that I frequent on occasion.

He's a hunter, and a shooter, and offered me a beer.

I think I've found my home!

    Well, I closed today.
It's officially mine, and paid in full.
The pics show my uncle next to the pile of rubbish I removed from the first floor!
Two trips to the dump with a very large dump truck and...

The vast majority of the first floor mess is GONE!
I haven't gotten upstairs yet, but I did clear the stairway.
Every person I know that looks at this place has the same reaction.
They all seem the mess at first, of course.
The ones that know what they're looking at all say they see the potential that I did.

    Now the major work begins.

There was house similar to that here on my road. They parked skid steer at the windows and filled bucket after bucket and dumpster after dumpster.

What was the final outcome with the shed?
Looks like that's a goner, but I really don't care much.
I got all three vehicles and I found keys to all three!
No idea if they're worth anything but scrap, but it's something.
There is a Dodge van with a handicap ramp in the side door.
That ramp will be salvaged regardless of the van.

I'd imagine you could use whatever you get for the vehicles to replace the shed.
