How long of wait for a Lifetime licenses

My wife sent in for her lifetime license before Thanksgiving, and we still have not heard anything back. She had a carry permit before, but it expired and decided to get a lifetime this time, Is it normal to wait 3-4 months for a lifetime? Her last one only took around 3-4 weeks.

It's funny that you mention this. My girlfriend applied the week before thanksgiving and just got it last week, whereas I applied over the summer and it was there in like two weeks. With recent legislation and reverberations due to the Obama administration they have been flooded with requests so its taking forever to get them sent. Or at least that is what they are saying.

Couple questions, did she have her prints on card or via electronic and does your area require any extra accommodation such as meeting with the sheriff or chief (I heard many places are starting to do that. Also do you live rural or city/town (you don't need to give specifics just general)

I know they claim less then 60 days but in reality it's between 8-15 weeks. You can follow it at this thread
