I'd say the gun owners who support the EO Obama is planning probably have only a superficial understanding of the issues. I mean c'mon. Think about it. What makes you think that background checks, at least the ones we have, are an adequate predictor of dangerous behavior? Also saw the quote that the EO are not only legal, but are changes the overwhelming majority of Americans, INCLUDING MOST GUN OWNERS, support. Guess I am not included in "most gun owners."

He said you could keep your healthcare too...
Yeah we'll see how far that flies. One of Obama's gun proposals is to include more ATF funding in his Fiscal 2017 budget request.

But that cuts both ways: either it's important enough to drop everything else for, or its not important enough to expect someone else to drop everything else for.

Here Are the Specific Executive Actions Obama Will Take to ?Reduce Gun Violence? | TheBlaze.com
Here we go. The list is out.
Some of the highlights.
- More government workers to process background checks
- More ATF agents
- Money to federal agencies to promote smart gun technology
- Online monitoring to identity private sellers "engaged in the business of selling firearms." (Makes a point to mention that as few as two sales could put someone into this category.)
- Require retailers to report lost or stolen guns
- Establish a single federal location for ballistics testing and comparions of fired bullets recovered in crimes
- Lean on states to report more info into background check database
OK.....I am not going to pick on Lowe0 any more. He just makes no sense.
