Local tv news mentioned it being dead this morning. Said local politicians blame the FOP.
So before I send out my donations this year. Should the 2nd Amendment foundation get it all since they are primarily focused on Indiana? Or am I mistaken in that understanding? Does Guy have a organization himself?Like I've said before, when I meet a GOA rep at the Statehouse I'll be sure and introduce myself.
Guy's group is the https://the2aproject.comSo before I send out my donations this year. Should the 2nd Amendment foundation get it all since they are primarily focused on Indiana? Or am I mistaken in that understanding? Does Guy have a organization himself?
Thanks for the clarification Expat. I think all my donations will be going to the 2a project. At least it's doing something for the state which affects every Hoosier.Guy's group is the https://the2aproject.com
The Second Amendment Foundation is a national group (Alan Gottlieb) that has been primarily involved in the major litigation cases for gun rights. They were in the Heller and McDonald cases IIRC.
I sprung for a 2 year membership last week. Figure it's worth putting the money to a group, especially one founded by and INGOer, that's fully committed to just IndianaThanks for the clarification Expat. I have had enough of the Indiana GOP effectively being center-left light duty democrats that if they can't be primaries I would consider voting for real Democrats in order to be able to get a real conservative the following election cycle. Two points on this:
A) It was never truly Constitutional Carry, as there were still rules in place. True Constitutional Carry would be total repeal of all LTCH rules and laws. It was never a good bill to begin with, but at least it was a step in the right direction.
B) Relford, Bray, Smaltz, Brown, NAGR and HGR are all pointing fingers at each other for it's failure. It is ultimately a failure of the Senate Republicans to pass it and they are acting like the weak Progressives they are.
What is Gpay? How does that work?I sprung for a 2 year membership last week. Figure it's worth putting the money to a group, especially one founded by and INGOer, that's fully committed to just Indiana
Honestly, we're just fooling ourselves. The parties are just opposite sides of the same coin. All politicos are just clawing for a spot in that elite-autocratic class and none actually do anything remotely representative of the people. It's always about their campaign and public face; if it happens to look good for them or maybe help a few people along the way, well, that's just a bonus.I have had enough of the Indiana GOP effectively being center-left light duty democrats that if they can't be primaries I would consider voting for real Democrats in order to be able to get a real conservative the following election cycle.
And it's partly we the voters fault. We need to vote out anyone not standing for our constitution. However, we don't. We just vote them right back into office.Honestly, we're just fooling ourselves. I am not sure. Assuming maybe Google Pay? I paid thru PayPalWhat is Gpay? How does that work?
We've fallen prey to the notion that a capitol R next to someone's name means they believe the same way we do. American's have become too feeble, too self-absorbed, too uneducated and too "woke" to perpetuate classic American ideals of self-responsibility, citizenship, self-reliance and service to others. Those pesky ideas of liberty, self-determination and the pursuit of happiness have been long forgotten. And it's partly we the voters fault. Can a district recall their elected state Senator in Indiana? We've fallen prey to the notion that a capitol R next to someone's name means they believe the same way we do.
