Yes, we are in a full blown panic run on ammo. Prices are crazy. Supply can be hard to find. Been going on for awhile. It is unlikely to get better any time soon with the continuing race riots followed by the election scare and if the Dems win as big as the leftist media is saying the polls predict, then there will be a huge pre gun control legislation panic run.
I've been stock piling components. I'll be gtg for months. Just ordered in 500 speer 125gr tnt 308 caliber bullets, 2,000 200gr .452 caliber bullets yesterday. Plan on grabbing more components today also.
Still costs me around 13 to 16 cents depending on what I paid for components. Would get even cheaper if I find a 115gr mould and start pouring. I've got enough components to last several years though. Learned my lesson when I finally got into buying my own firearms in 2012 at the age of 26. Started buying low when 2012 died down and started stocking on components when I started reloading in 2014.
My 9mm with coated lead bullets cost me around 10.5 cents per round. I started reloading way, way back, so my equipment has been amortized many times over. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of those at the mercy of political whims.Still costs me around 13 to 16 cents depending on what I paid for components. Yep, and here we see the folly of the ENTIRE handgun/CCW industry putting all their eggs in the 9mm basket.
I think the last few cases I bought on line were around $169 with free shipping from Natzches, that was brass, American made.Don't know what you guys are hyperventilating about. Prices seem fairly normal to me:

Yeah, hope your correct. Prices around my area, if it's available, is around 13.99$ per box of standard 115 grain ball.Back in 2012 it also went through the roof or was just unavailable. This too shall pass, eventually.
