Yeah, we are getting up high enough now, that I think i would be willing to sell some for that price. How much do I really need down in the basement...

Making some money would be nice, but I'm going to be out by summer without selling any so I'll keep what I have.

If this doesn't settle down, shooting as a sport will be too rich for my budget. And that will be sad since I am finally getting consistent with range visits and dry fire. I'm actually starting to improve!

Question for those with knowledge of wholesale prices, are the retail prices appearing on AmmoSeek etc. representative of actual whole sale pricing, or simply supply / demand pricing at the retail level.

My question is that if the manufacturer and wholesale prices have not escalated to the ridiculous levels of retail pricing then as supply returns there should be a faster drop. I would also expect some "deals" as retailers who are less abusive of their customer's sell at their traditional markup level.

If the manufacturer and wholesale prices have exploded to the same degree, then substantial price reductions to the historically sane levels will take much longer. Probably as a result of new entrants significantly increasing overall supply.
