I definitely need to read the text of that bill. Did you all notice the hard core lefty names that voted "Nay"?

Nadler, Cortez, Omar, Lee, Jesse Jackson's kid... It goes on and on.
They voted nay for different reasons. The Freedom Caucus voted against it for reasons you might expect. It's nearly $900B. But hey, they accepted a Republican's amendment which disallowed some woke **** in the military. I think some DEI training was dropped.

The hard core lefties voted against it because it funds the military and they hate the military.

During the pandemic a white progressive female I know showed the map that went viral which showed more covid testing sites in white areas than black areas, and claimed that the cause was systemic racism.

First of all, testing sites? Why? That was a waste of resources.

But anyway, I asked her, is racism really the only possible cause you can think of? There are a lot of reasons why they might choose for such things, and you think all of them are racist? She didn't answer.

and who was in charge, while Biden or his cabinet had no idea this was even happening for 4 days? The worst possible choice I can imagine, but I am sure DEI and trans recognition day for the military(a thing since she became Deputy secretary of defense) where in full swing. Military responses to say attacks on US bases and shipping....yea not so much.

Of course it is tough to lead the US military from vacation in Puerto Rico, but she managed and did not need to cut her trip short.

"Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, who was on leave, has picked up his duties, the senior defense official said."

"Hicks was on pre-scheduled leave when Austin was hospitalized this week, according to a defense official. She has been on vacation in Puerto Rico, the official said."

but hey...she checked the first woman deputy secretary of defense box!

Don’t worry, it’s no big deal. At no point did the defense secretary’s secret hospitalization affect our readiness. China has our backs.
