Do you have the proof that food prices never declined?
You don’t and I posted a link showing they did decline…
Be interesting to see oil prices on the same chart…Against my better judgment since this is the gas price thread, I'll add this.

I was only saying that fuel prices did go down. Idk about food prices.Do you have the proof that food prices never declined?
Gregr was saying food went up because of fuel costs and never came down. He apparently forgets that they all are separate markets that while independent can influence each other.I was only saying that fuel prices did go down. Idk about food prices.
You cannot possibly show that there were any decreases in cost to the consumer due to prices being ratcheted down due to decreasing gasoline prices. Prices for any given item can fluctuate due to variables such as supply, demand, distributor variables, whatever. But generally speaking, prices do NOT decline because the merchant undid an increase they implemented earlier. It`s only market conditions that can drive prices down. You don’t and I posted a link showing they did decline…

We certainly wouldn`t want to discuss and examine the causes of hyper inflation...I used to pay 5 cents for a Dairy Queen ice cream cone and 32.9 cents for a gallon of gas. So prices of both have gone up. So like Bugl02 said, move on!
Is that when wheels where square? J/KI used to pay 5 cents for a Dairy Queen ice cream cone and 32.9 cents for a gallon of gas. So prices of both have gone up. So like Bugl02 said, move on!
Mine were proved, then a follow up post confirmed it again. What more do you need? So, sounds like you both admit neither one of you can prove your assertions - ever - if I read #532 and #533 correctly
