Well, as a Federal employee, I can tell you that the first one ain't happening. If it does, I'll retract, but we sure haven't been told anything about it.

My 1 son is also a Fed employee.

I can’t speak specifically to this...not doubting you. I did hear on news show this morning as they read thru a list of things contained in the bill “ up to $25,000 bonuses to federal employees.” Which employees, bonuses for what in particular was not elaborate. I just caught it as the list was being read.

My guess would be the $25k applies to swamp creatures, not the peons in flyover country.
