But, but it isn't fair.Guess you forgot who was in control for a moment.
Why don’t YOU go out and tell them, or would you prefer stewing on the internet? Im doing fine over here, in the “burbs.”You should probably have been out saying that to the burn loot murder bunch, or does that not bother you as much as people stewing on the internet?
12 very scared and intimidated people.Apologies if this has been talked about and I`ve missed it, but has it been said what the make up of the jury was?
Why does that make a difference?Apologies if this has been talked about and I`ve missed it, but has it been said what the make up of the jury was?
Fair enough. I just had visions of the OJ jury where the brotha` flashed the black power sign to him after the not guilty verdict.12 very scared and intimidated people.
Would you be one of those intimidated people if you were on that jury? I’m wondering how many people here would vote to “appease the mob?”12 very scared and intimidated people.

I was just giving a friendly warning, because tempers were running high, and lines have already been crossed. So rather than somone getting a TO, it might do well to step away for a minute and catch their breath. And it has nothing to do with interacting with yours truly.
OJ’s Jury was 9B, 2W, 1HFair enough. I just had visions of the OJ jury where the brotha` flashed the black power sign to him after the not guilty verdict.

So you’d lie? Not exactly a ringing endorsement of American patriotism, is it?I wouldn't give my life for Chauvin.
No reasonable person would. So why would I expect a jury to do so?

Sad all the way around. Police Academies will no longer be able to recruit the best candidates. They’ll lower standards to get warm bodies to drive squad cars. Poorly qualified and poorly trained cops will fill the ranks. Mistakes will happen. Incompetence will happen. Corruption will happen. It’s sad the good ones are going to leave, but I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to risk their lives and their futures for someone to play politics with. Sad day for America.

A jury of nothing but police would have been a bit skewed even for my tastes. What happened to a jury of your peers? Shouldn't he have been judged by 12 people in law enforcement? If you go back to where this right stems from the Magna Carta it specifically says a jury on equal terms. As in a lord is is to have a jury of lords not peasants.
So a police officer should have a jury of law enforcement because they would be his only peers. Just a thought.
