Thats just not any kid, it's Calvin

My brother followed the Grateful Dead around some back in the 1990's and collected every Calvin and Hobbe's Grateful Dead T shirt he could find...He has about 20 different ones and he wore them out....He checked prices on Ebay for the vintage "one of" shirts and could not believe what they are going for lol...

    Mike Pence tweet:

The tyrant #Castro is dead. New hope dawns. We will stand with the oppressed Cuban people for a free and democratic Cuba. Viva Cuba Libre!

Also, Cuba is under a mandatory 9-day mourning period.

He's Cuban. Anything other than calling Castro a killer, won't suffice. I'll have to see the presidents statement to find out what I think about it.

It was meh...Neither for nor against and recognizing the effect, good or bad, Castro has been on the Cuban people...

My wife got started crying when I told her this am...Her Godmother was an exile and let's just say she was no fan of Castro....When I get up to the farm today I have to toast, with Kentucky Bourbon, Castro's demise with my wife's cousin's husband Allejandro....We promised 8 years ago at the wedding we would do so upon this news....The wife is going to film me giving a Cuba Libre speech and then a toast.......

My brothers Cuban co worker is literally dancing down the halls of Clark County Hospital today.......

    Cuba Libre.....

I can see lamblasting him in media, as the tyrant he was. For a head of state, I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Fidel may be gone, but his more moderate brother, who is the one opening them up is still pretty spry. Is it a good idea to start ******* all over his brother before the corpse is even cold? I'd think not. There's no benefit to it, only issues. Fidel's time is over, bury him, move on, and look forward to hopefully a better future with Cuba.

I wonder if Raul will try to realize his dream of dropping nukes on New York City

The Radio, said that "Cuban Americans", were dancing and singing in the streets .....

Two songs come to my mind, one by Queen, and one from the Wizard of Oz .....

January 20 is going to be a very special day for me. Good that Trump is coming in, very good that Obama is going out.

Post by one of my FB friends, of Cuban descent:

I ran for congress in 2010, and I spoke in front of a large group of Cuban-Americans, many of whom either directly came from Cuba in the 1950s or were the sons and daughters of those refugees. What's interesting is it was one of the few speeches I gave where I didn't do much of the talking, but they went around and told me the dangers of socialism/liberalism and what it cost their families personally. I will never forget the one man who told me about how his family was dragged out of their own house and he and his brother watched Castro's soldiers shoot his parents. He was shot in the eye when he escaped later but survived. This man and his doctrines are pure evil. Let us never forget that. Burn in hell, Castro.
