    A decent video on the Redneck Revolt (language warning);

    I joke about them not being actual rednecks, but seriously, this sounds just as cultish as ANTIFA. I'll bet this didn't originate with rednecks. It spread to them through advocacy. Perhaps indoctrination through public education.

    Probably pro-2A hipsters.... but you never know. There are people who are like this who actually do consider themselves rednecks (and have a legit claim to the term).

    I don't see that they overtly subscribe to socialism, but "anti-capitalism" is one of their documented principles.

    I'd hazard a guess that these are not actual rednecks. Their aims are entirely Marxist and middle class leaning. This is just an attempt to sell their beliefs to the working class in an attempt to claw back those working class voters who would have been pro-union and likely to vote Democrat.

    At best this is astro-turf

    They took the name "redneck revolt" from the coal miners in the Battle of Blair Mountain. The miners wore a red bandana or cloth around their necks to distinguish themselves from those that sided with the mine owners, (Pinkertons, State Police etc.). They don't see themselves as "Red Necks" in the modern meaning of the word, they consider themselves revolutionaries fighting against the "unfair system" and yet they don't seem to be able to define just what the unfair system is they are fighting against.

    We have rebels searching for a cause all around us. Why should they be any different? :):

    I always wonder who pays those people, when I was their age I was busy working and raising a family.

    If I had to step out on a limb and speculate, my guess is that you can follow the money back to George Soros.

    I have no question in my mind that he is just as happy to have socialist malcontents dressing as coal miners as dressing like little punks that flunked out of school, or dressing up in their black pajamas.

    I suspect people like soros fund a lot of this stuff. As far as the people go, some of them have jobs. Bike lock dude was a professor. I think there's an organized hierarchy, and possibly college faculty help [STRIKE]recruit[/STRIKE] indoctrinate new members.

    All true, but the professor doesn't exactly work 12 hours a day at hard labor. In reality, he is probably doing well to spend 15 hours a week in the classroom and if he has been at it very long at all, he is probably recycling his same curriculum thus cutting his prep time dramatically over actually having to do it fresh. Plenty of time for idle hands to be Soros's workshop.

    Here's a White House petition to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization. Needs 75K more signatures to force a response from the White House:

    https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/formally-recognize-antifa-terrorist-organization-0

    It won't go anywhere sadly. I'll sign it anyways.
    I'm just waiting for the kkk to retaliate against antifa. I hate them both the same and it will be amusing to watch them kill each other.
    Antifa is already very violent so I expect it to get nuts soon between them
