At least one witness is saying multiple shooters, and all in black...

The guy on the door camera isn't in all black, and he's by himself, but I wonder if she was just scared to death, or did she see what she says.

For those of you saying Trump inspired this...I totally remember the speech where he came out against corporations and automation, said we needed tighter controls of the environment and since we can't control people we should just engage in a depopulation event of some kind, then split the country into a confederacy of territories, one for each race. Because that's what it says in his insanifesto. Get a grip, your unhinged TDS is showing.

That's just failed parenting right there. If what you said really is the case, society would have fallen already due to inability to cope hardships in life. Again, it is not the case.

It took generations to get here . This country is falling apart it just doesn't happen overnight.

We're no longer a like minded ' close ' knit society anymore.

People are more isolated than ever before, particularly at that age. It's very easy to hole up in your own little world and radicalize without anyone catching on.

The active shooter is 21 years old. It's very, very difficult to believe that someone in his circle does not know of his homicidal insanity.

Often the pattern has been that law enforcement has a record of run in's with these sort of individuals. Let alone the "protections" afforded the underage criminally insane.

Oh ****ing hell. The video game angle is utter bull****. Is anyone listening to what these people are saying? It seems with the event of the Christchurch shooting we have a new kind of mass shooter. Well. Not all that new. Dylan Roof was an earlier example. These far right extremists want to spark an armed uprising of the right against the left. The problem is ideological indoctrination, not video games, for **** sake. You can’t solve a problem if you can’t understand the cause. It’s not video games. It’s not guns. Banning objects isn’t gonna stop this.

I believe it adds to the problem. It may not be the sole problem, but certainly adds to it. We see it in other areas as well; it attacks and desensitizes many people; not all. It's no different with porn, or at least certain forms of it. Some individuals can handle sensory overload and some cannot; age certainly plays a major factor in this.

Doesn't matter how many studies say video games have absolutely zero link to violence, it's an easy scapegoat for people looking to place blame on something that doesn't involve them.

I mean, if an avid collector of bourbons (similar to myself) performed a mass shooting tomorrow... I'd sure try and blame it on their love for, oh I dunno, beekeeping. Because I'm not a beekeeper.

The Walmart dude did not shoot people because video games desensitized him. He shot people because he's indoctrinated in an ideology that wants a revolution. Video games have zero point **** to do with that. We already have a rating system for video games that are supposed to limit more violent games to older people. We also have laws that make it illegal to shoot people. More laws to restrict people's access to stuff is not going to keep these people from doing this stuff. Remember what the Christchurch dude said? He wanted American gun control zealots to go ape**** with banning guns, and spark the American right into a revolution. It sounds like the Walmart dude picked up on that. Let's fix the right problem.

Well. I'd say Bourbon collectors aren't bad by themselves. But mixed with Anime, now THAT'S a volatile combination. :nailbite:

I believe this is Low Intensity Conflict combined with 4th generational warfare where the combatants may stay within in the country and not form a state of there own. It also blurs the lines between Combatants, Politics, Civilians often without a central command just ideals and feeds from the roots inward.

When people sense injustice, they become discontented. Groups may form around specific issues of discontent. People may support or join groups committed to achieving social or political change through violent means. The intensity of their sense of injustice often determines the degree to which they participate in violence. FM 100-20

This applies to all groups Antifa, Eco terror groups, White Power, Left or Right this also means a single person with radical views may act alone with the belief that unseen others are on his or her side. The mass shootings are all not covered under this area some are just straight crazy.

Shooters that are based in ideals are sparking unrest and may cause counter attacks from shooters on the other ideological side. What we think of as crazy some view as martyrs. This inspires motivation in more people to commit acts unless something like a government intervenes. Often once set in motion it cannot be stopped.

I was born and lived 26 years in ElPaso and still have lots of family there. My aunt and cousin were in the JC Penny in that mall when it happened.
That Walmart is basically in the parking lot of the mall. That Walmart is also close to the bridges from Juarez Mexico and is it is well known that most of the customers are from across the border. If he was looking to take out hispanics that would have been top of the list. My brother was telling me that ElPaso PD swat, State police swat, Border Patrol swat unit and FBI were all on scene and also sent to every other Walmart in town as a security measure. I guess the army from Fort Bliss also sent up helicopters to aide.
One more thing to remember is that Beto O'Rourke is from ElPaso. It will be interesting to see how he handles this and what it does to his polling.

He was in the news instantly.
And we all know what he's going to say.
