    in my opinion, the only way to stop gun violence is for more law abiding citizens to carry. especially in schools. get teachers/principles/faculty the permit and neccessary firearm training required by the local police department. that way, they have the know-how and the training to deal with situations like vt before it ever happens.

    I am no expert (or even fairly knowledgeable) on KY law, but I know that in some States and localities officers are required to carry when off duty. Sometimes this is specified by law, and many times it is specified in the specific department's SOP. Makes me wonder how the university is prepared to handle this conflict.
