Putin added that in the future Russia may also work on the development of its own missile defense systems, but will now focus primarily on commissioning new strike weapons. He said that over the past three years Russian arms makers already have built and tested prospective weapons systems, "which are capable of performing combat tasks in spite of the multi-echelon missile defense system."
"Such systems have begun to enter combat duty this year," Putin said without elaborating.
The Kremlin says secret plans for a Russian long-range nuclear torpedo - called "Status-6" - should not have appeared on Russian TV news.
...
On the diagram the giant torpedo's range is given as "up to 10,000km" (6,200 miles) and depth of trajectory is "up to 1,000m" (3,300ft).
...Rossiiskaya Gazeta called the torpedo a "robotic mini-submarine", travelling at 100 knots (185km/h; 115mph), which would "avoid all acoustic tracking devices and other traps".
China and Russia are just standing by waiting and watching our nation fall apart with our politically correct fantasies destroying us from the inside. The Russians and Chinese are never afraid to call a spade a spade. That is their strength and our inability to do so is our weakness and will be our downfall if things don't change soon.
Russia has blamed Ukrainian nationalists from far-right party Right Sector and Crimean Tatar activists for the pylon damage, calling it "an act of terrorism".
A Crimean Tatar activist told Ukraine's TV news broadcaster 112 Ukrayina that Russia must release "political prisoners" and let their leader return to Crimea in exchange for repairs to the power lines.
So this is interesting. Power has basically been cut off to the Crimean from the Ukrainian side.

Unorganized groups are preventing efforts to repair the pylons, including the Crimean Tatars.
So when Russia starts bombing the Ukraine to root out the terrorists, I wonder what we will do....
The Ukraine sees an opportunity. Hopefully Its based on some solid logic.
At this point, I think logic is too much to expect. I'm just hoping for a reasonable amount of emotion.
This could become interesting for NATO.

ah , I see . But we are still close allies ... Or at lease we still pay them a butt load of money to like us , right ?Always keep in mind that this is not the same Turkey that joined NATO. They were secular back then, it is now run by Islamic fundamentalists.
Valid point . It's just there are all these little things... I'm just waiting for the straw that breaks the camels back.Turkey and Russia are discussing it, it doesn't seem to be any sort of "war" trigger.
