Weird shipping BS for the day: I ordered a Tikka rail from EGW on Saturday with 2nd Day FedEx shipping. EGW does not ship until Tuesday, which is fine given the world today. The odd part is, it's still listed as waiting for pickup but FedEx shows it due for delivery today. But, FedEx has no tracking info on it because they also said that it has not been picked up yet and the delivery is subject to change. Our normal FedEx delivery time has come and gone today. My guess is that the label was created but the package never made it to FedEx. I need to give EGW a call.

Rolled out to Lizton to pick up the trailer.

I see this from time to time. When the label is created there is a period when it shows delivery like the same or next day, until Fedex receives it and then actually calculates the logistics and delivery time. I assume there are a lot of situations where there is a label created and then for whatever reason is not actually shipped so they just have a gap in their system that doesn't address this or it's by design for some reason.

I was 40 minutes to late and missed out on a Ronin 10mm and 45acp. Local gun shop got them in today. Someone bought both approximately 40 minutes before I got there.

I see this from time to time. When the label is created there is a period when it shows delivery like the same or next day, until Fedex receives it and then actually calculates the logistics and delivery time. I assume there are a lot of situations where there is a label created and then for whatever reason is not actually shipped so they just have a gap in their system that doesn't address this or it's by design for some reason.

I talked to them and they are dealing with shipping delays due to the weather. Then, when FedEx picked stuff up, the ship dates were wrong so new tracking numbers were generated. The stuff is enroute but with unknown tracking numbers so All is good
