Does anyone think he will actually go to jail? I saw it was up to 10yrs per charge. . so 30yrs. I am not seeing him getting that.
I think there's a sizable difference here. Yes, Jefferson had slaves... but slavery was well accepted in his time. In theory, Jefferson could potentially convince himself he had done nothing wrong (we won't get into his personal thoughts of the morality of the practice). Cosby, conversely, doesn't have that luxury. Every woman he drugged and raped, he knew that he was doing something very wrong.
I know it's picking nits but I thought he was only convicted of drugging and raping one. And what the hell, to that I'll add that I have a problem with someone that waits until the 11th hour to prosecute. It's typical of so many other of the #metoo's, "Ok, I'm a star now so it's o.k. to complain about the environment I had to deal with to get here". Makes me ambivalent to their plight.

I think most here know the Bee is being posted knowing it's satire.
The Babylon Bee is well known as a satire site. The fact that someone had to put out Snopes type alert about it being fake news further reinforces my lack of faith in people.
