Are you kidding me. Ive never heard about so much bacon until i joined this site. I like bacon and all, but why all the hype?

There is a point in life that gravy becomes a beverage and bacon rules. You will understand when this happens. Comes with no warning and resistance is futile.
This and we can not show nudity or cuss a lot on this site so it is bacon, OK

Heard that as well. The shell is porous and breaths or so I am told. Oiling eggs, now that is a way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

There may be some decent information under the subject of "water glass" for extended storage of fresh eggs. I haven't attempted to use this method, only suggesting it may offer an interesting alternative.
