Too bad they can't tell the difference between the F-106 Delta Dart in the photos! NOT an F-102. Great editing.

I’ve got a mfg data plate from an F106B that I keep on my bar. I found the remains of the aircraft in the burn pit at Travis AFB while on lunch break one day. There were two F106s in the pit but one had the cockpit melted over the data plate. Both aircraft were NASA aircraft used to train astronauts on thrust vectoring.

Willow Run plant that produced roughly one bomber every hour during WW2
I've been to this plant. I'm not sure if it's still in operation but back when GM owned it I was in there a couple of times. It's huge. It was the first plant I'd ever been to that, off of a 4 lane divided highway, it had its own set of off/on "interstate-type" ramps. The office area were up on mezzanines in the main area of the plant. The hallways were so long you could see the perspective lines almost converging in the distance.

    Just saw "Top Gun: Maverick".

I mentioned to a former fighter pilot friend: "Great movie, but wouldn't that mission have been easier with a UAV or ground operators laser targeting and a B-2 dropping the MOP?"

His response: "Well, yeah, but then there would be no drama and no movie."

    Also...spoliers:

But that's a great point about the second wave of Tomahawks.
