Austin police say the man suspected of several bombings in Austin died early Wednesday morning as officers attempted to arrest him.
Authorities tracked the man to a Round Rock-area hotel. One officer was injured after the suspect detonated his own bomb as authorities approached him in his vehicle.
"The suspect is deceased and has significant injuries from a blast that occurred," said Brian Manley, Austin's interim police chief.

The list of items that people want to ban is long and varying. At least in YouTubes case it isn't the actual .gov making it illegal to do so. That would be a whole new level. Whether it is guns, porn, how to make a bomb, or anything else. I can see it happening quickly though. Just like 3d printing of guns.Well...by banning gun related pages and other conservative pages, the folks at YouTube and twitter have already started doing their part.
Bomber is a 24 year old white male. Given his age, and apparently how competent he was in making bombs, I wonder if he's ex-mil. The alternative, I guess, would be him becoming savvy based on internet knowledge. No motive known yet.

That's nine miles as the bird flies.
Second best part: Guy was in his car when it blew up, but "The man’s hat was burned to the ceiling, but he told police he could hear OK, and he didn’t have any serious injuries."
Best part: "After the explosion blew the windshield and windows out of his car, the driver left the lodge and drove west on State Road 46."
ETA: Florida Man has competition.

Yeah, I try to avoid using the name in situations like this. Not a big deal, though. Just part of my evolving approach to these matters.
