Wasn't inferring that they were. But did you see them? They don't look like women or men so I'm pretty sure kids are going to be confused and probably too scared to sit on a strange man/woman's lap.

I agree. They do look a bit weird and over the top.


And many confuse "drag queen" with "cross dresser". A cross dresser wears womens clothes and may or may not try to look like a woman. A "drag queen" is an over the top caricature akin to something like a Mardi Gras reveller or a hyper feminine clown.

But yes, definitely confusing to some kids. I'd love to see a youtube video about it... of the "Kids react to..." variety. It would be interesting to get their take.

Given a choice, I'd prefer drag queen over clowns. Clowns are freaky.

Maybe. If "Two Bombs" is important enough to know what it means, and represent the event... "wasn't" could sort of work.

But since he is directly referencing the amount of them, "weren't" would make more sense. It can sound odd either way
