Oh, I always wished I had one that would wrinkle those rear tires up. I also wished I could believe them enough when they told me I was going to die that it would motivate me to do stuff
I just hit the lottery on a scratch ticket but I could use some expertise, how am I gonna build that Camaro on $20?
You need to work on that Mustang.....
Hmmm... Going to be close... Want to give you a good answer... I need to figure out when I started on it. I know the garage was built in 96 so it was just after that.
Ok... Guessing on summer of 98... Titled on 2/99 and it took me quite a long time to get the title fixed. It was mess. So looks like we are pretty close.
Sounds like a push to me!!
Very impressive guys. I'm doing a good job just keeping my garage clean enough to work on house projects and my mountain bike. Just little projects for me. These cars are inspiring though.
Thats really nice. I wish i had a lift. Im hoping my next one is a older camero of some sort. Ive been working on this s10 for about 7months now been kinda lazy. Would really like to find a 6speed T-56 to mate to this motor for it tough but anytime i find one its well over $1500. I currently have a NV3500 5 speed that im goign to use till I destroy it lol.
ill have to load pic later. I built my 2000 Trans Am 6 speed that i sold a couple months ago. was LS1 short block with livernois LS6 heads and a FTI 228/232 111la cam and lingenfelter intake. LT headers and dual electric cutouts with a LS7 clutch. made 427rwhp/413rwtq at 6400rpm. ran great and beat the **** out of it every day for 2 years. sold it with 55k miles on the clock lol. (still regret selling it) currently have a 1992 Lt1 Vette but thats getting sold and looking for next project!!
My little brother's project.
74 Challenger. Was 318 auto, now 440 4 speed. Still working on it.
Just rebuilt the front suspension a couple weeks ago.
Next is completely redoing the interior - wiring and dash. ughh
The shop and lift are my older brother's babies, and the mill and lathe are my projects...
My projects are a tad smaller in scope:
I tried to buy a project Kaw KZ-650 a couple weeks back. I had one when I was younger and it was probably my most favorite bike to ride out of the 3 I haev owned. Too bad the buy wanted too much for the basketcase it was. It would be fun to make the motorcycle version of a resto-rod!
Find a 6 speed from an LT1 car... The second someone sees ls1 the price goes up but the LT stuff tranny included is considerd boat anchors now so that means cheap stuff for you. I have seen them with everything needed for well under a grand. Just don't mention LS1... Say LT1..... It's a price discount.
On topic I have had a few Camaro's.... Want to get another fun car once I meet a few goals that are very close.
Doubt I will ever have any other motor then a BBC again.... Like my cars barley street able.... Big power....
I just did a 650 Kaw for a neighbor. It had been in a shed for a long time. I did the brakes/fluids/carbs/new ignition/clutch and cables. New battery and flushed/coated the tank. It was a neat little bike.
