I think the Checo and Sainz accident was a racing incident; although, one has to wonder why Checo didn't move a little to the left since he had all the track to move over. Best chance he's had in a while for a good finish and he just throws it away.

The upcoming race in Singapore is going to be really interesting! If McLaren pulls off another win Verstappen and Red Bull will all have their hair on fire.
And watch out for Ferrari sneaking up on all of them! :dunno:

What an outstanding F1 race in Azerbaijan! Piastri’s move on LeClerc was amazing. Verstappen is in real trouble at RedBull and with his frustration growing the “rumors” of him moving to another team will grow louder and louder.
Lastly, Ferrari has to grow some cojones and go for it harder!
Watching that whiny little Dutch b**** lose is oh so satisfying.

It's been a great season so far - George wins his home race, LeClerc wins his, Ferrari wins theirs... And Stroll still sucks.

It looked like puff of tire smoke right before Sainz veered left.
It's F1 so I don't discount shenanigans, but it didn't benefit Ferrari, so why?
    It's either (A) mechanical (B) stupidity (C) malicious

    I bet on (B).

(PS - just watched the race tonight)

Singapore is going to be very interesting indeed. Especially so if the race goes in rain which in Singapore is a real threat.

Carlos Sainz of Ferrari crashes out in Q3 on cold tires! Seriously?
They weren't cold. He was at the end of his warm-up lap. He can say whatever he wants to try to protect his waning reputation but it was clear he just dropped the ball. That's one of many reasons he's driver #2 for the team and going to be in a Williams next year.

What a race in Singapore! Norris blew away the competition and all the competition can do is cry cheating. I say that is BS. The FIA tested and retested the McLaren cars and declared the wing legal. The competition is just continuing to cry foul over and over louder and louder and hoping the torrent is big enough to cause the FIA to capitulate.
Puhlease! F1 is all about playing in the grey area around the rules. They all do it and some have better results within the rules than others. Such is the case with McLaren which was for a long time mid-pack and with them rising, the “big boys” just don’t like it and the threat to their supremacy!

McLaren had 30+ seconds, if not more, in their pocket the entire race. Amazing change of scenery up front on the pointy end of the grid compared to earlier this season and all of last season for sure!
