By grounding these flight many lives were saved today.“Something something death tube?”
I'm now seeing it in US sources too. Fascinating. It shows up on a local news channel, is then picked up in foreign news citing US news stories, but only later does it finally show up in US national sources.
Were these (polar bear) lives saved because all the planes were Carbon Neutral while grounded?By grounding these flight many lives were saved today.
How kind of them.all flights in the air when the glitch occurred would be allowed to land
I mean....I'm pretty sure the engines were idling the whole time.....then most flights will continue on using the same fuel it would have, so fuel consumption, and therefore pollution from the exhaust may be greater than normal. Were these (polar bear) lives saved because all the planes were Carbon Neutral while grounded?

Therefore, the net effect on polar bears will be just a negligible to non-existent as it would be on any "normal" day.
Only thing we know for sure is we will Never know for sure what happened!I wonder what is really going on & what happened.

I thought that was weird too. I heard about it on WTHR this morning which is what prompted me to look it up. Apparently the FAA is trying to reboot its computer systems now.
Someone dropped the stack of punch cards and now they have to put them back in order.Which, given the age of the system, I assume is done Loony Tunes style with a hand crank while a tree threatens to fall on it.
