This is crazy, I spent 5 hours reading and posting posts. There were many other post that were the same and many that were a lot shorter. What's the difference between reading and posting 5 hours one night or doing 5 hours over a period of 5 days. Spending 5 hours of my own time in one sitting deffiently shows I have interested and dedication to this forum just to get shot down and my post removed. Being a guy that is just getting into collecting firearms and reloading, I was expecting a little bit more support. I'm sure there are member that think I'm waisting their time and breath, but this "newbie" or "young pup" is trying to learn and be part of what I thought was a good site, but now see it is being run with politics and political views. Its 2015 guys and there is a new breed of guys wanting to be apart of something good but are getting shut down because I spent 5 hours inONE night and posted longer post then some people, but the thing I am confused about is why people are saying I did it fast to be able to post on classifieds. Its unfortainate people jump to conclusion and don't know the whole story
Oh wait isn't that what's wrong with the world today!!
No one is trying to shut you out or discourage you from learning more about the shooting sports or firearms in general. You have access to a wealth of information in this forum. But you must hang around and contribute for a little while before having access to the classifieds.
The rule was the same for all of us, so I don't see how it's all about politics, as you mentioned. Well, I take that back, it is like politics in one respect. You can pay to be a site supporter and bypass the rule.
The rule is that you need 50 "quality" posts. Not one liners. If you spent 5 hours racking up 50 posts, that averages out to a post every 6 minutes. I'm not sure how one can read through a thread, formulate an opinion and type up a response every 6 minutes.
If you just want to sell a gun there are plenty of places to do that. If you want to stick around, get to know the members, add to your knowledge bases then you should hang around.
