“This actually came forward for another party. There was an internal process going on within the school corporation about a completely independent issue and it was during this process that this information was discovered, and the school contacted us immediately,” Barrett said.

So exactly how much MORE f****** up s*** went on at that school that FIVE people stood around and watched or participated in this and didn't think THAT was severe enough to report?

What do you have to be exposed to, in order to be desensitized to that degree?

    What else haven't they reported?

Teachers, there are MANY greats ones, I’ll start that way; however, there are (IMO) an equal number of bad ones. The teachers union is also guilty for protecting bad teachers, inciting socialism, indoctrinating children against parents will, encouraging disobedience against parents and so so much more.

The powers within are kidnapping your children. Buyer beware.

The good ones need to step up and call out the bad ones and the bs. Thats would be a good start. The union definitely needs to be disbanded

Failing to report is, IMO, just as serious And should end in termination and prosecution.
...and it's the law. The duty to report suspected child abuse or neglect is a duty everyone has under the law.

The below statutes only deal with the failure to report. The people who perpetrated this horrific act will have these plus a bunch of other statutes to deal with.

"In addition to any other duty to report arising under this article, an individual who has reason to believe that a child is a victim of child abuse or neglect shall make a report as required by this article."

    Ind. Code § 31-33-5-1

"...(b) If an individual is required to make a report under this article in the individual’s capacity as a member of the staff of a medical or other public or private institution, school, facility, or agency, the individual shall immediately make a report to:

    (1) the department; or

    (2) the local law enforcement agency.

After making the report, the individual shall notify the individual in charge of the institution, school, facility, or agency or the designated agent of the individual in charge of the institution, school, facility, or agency that the report was made."

    Ind. Code § 31-33-5-2

"A person who has a duty under this chapter to report that a child may be a victim of child abuse or neglect shall immediately make an oral or written report to:

    (1) the department [Department of Child Services]; or

    (2) the local law enforcement agency."

    Ind. Code § 31-33-5-4

"(a) A person who knowingly fails to make a report required by IC 31-33-5-1 commits a Class B misdemeanor.

    (b) A person who knowingly fails to make a report required by IC 31-33-5-2 or IC 31-33-5-2.5 commits a Class B misdemeanor. This penalty is in addition to the penalty imposed by subsection (a)."

    Ind. Code § 31-33-22-1
