The standard go-to mold for the 35 rem has always been the RCBS 35-200, link below. I've seen MANY people attest to it. Search over at castboolits.com for details. I don't have a 35 rem, but I have a couple of 358 Winchesters. I have the NOE version of the 35-200 but haven't played with it much. I've been concentrating on 245gr Saeco mold and the heavier 358009.
May have tumbled on to something.
Been looking at the various manufacturers' mold designs with goofy reg #1.8 in mind, that short distance from base of the neck to the case mouth.
The old Ideal (later Lyman) 358156 has a second crimpable groove in it.
Now, if a body was to have the diameter of the 358156 SWC nose increased to bore diameter and the hole extended through the bottom of the blocks, with an adjustable length wide flat point nose plug... I gotta look at this. Having an adjustable length wide flat point hunting bullet made to order for goofy reg #1.8; that's just too good not to look at.
