Picked up the new to me 38 Super Combat Master today. It is as nice as the photos the guy sent me, nearly pristine in every way. Now I just need about a 1000 rounds of 38 Super!!! Pretty good looking for a gun that is nearly 30 years old.
Not really sure how many of these were made in this caliber, but its safe to say that there were not a lot of them produced. BTW, this is a MK V model CombatMaster.
Bastards. All of you. i don't have a 1911 yet and you all make me jealous. The best thing about a 1911 is owning one. Too bad nobody will gift me one...
Here is my first 1911. Bought it off of Bishop22 (thanks by the way). Wow this thing is the most accurate 45 I have ever shot. The pic is terrible it was with my phone.
Weird thing happened to me a few months ago.... I had this in my pocket to go shoot and after I put not even a half mag through the gun, the front sight blew off! I'm guessing I knocked it loose with my pocket.
The gun has made its rounds and it has been worked on and modded a couple times(see my last pic of the ground down middle finger notch haha) but I guess the sight wasn't staked down too well.
These pictures have the new sight I just got on there by Scroggins. Freaked me out to see their ammo posts on here but they did a great job on my new front site...
