Thought I would share a pic of my Nighthawk Predator 5" .45 in hard chrome. Its the only one I have a pic of. I also have an Ed Brown Kobra Carry in gen3, a Wilson Combat CQB 10mm 5", and a Nighthawk Talon Damascus being built now. I will get some pics up soon enough.

Just bought a RIA 1911 for a "tool box" pistol.

Has anybody had success / failure in using the old Colt 1911 magazines in this pistol?

Id like to introduce "THE THREE AMIGOS". Last year they were the twins, and no Wilson hammers, beaver tail, trigger, or stylish stainless barrel bushing! First new handgun purchase was my SA mil-spec. Not pistol purchase, but new pistol purchase. I love the way single action shoots and the weight with slim grip. I love my 1911s. Saw a SA double stack or hi cap model and it seemed like a good idea. Got brand new novak pattern Trijicons installed, Wilson skeletonized hammer and beaver tail. I am proud of these. The 9mm was made in the USA in the 80s. Traded a Sig SP2022 9mm and a Norinco SKS for it and feel like I got a great deal.

Success. A quality 1911 mag will work in any 1911.

Can anyone tell me Long it usually takes to break in a Kimber?

I really want to start shooting reloads out of my Kimber, but I am kind of nervous about it, if the gun is still too new. I obviously don't want to harm the gun at all. I have about 300 rounds through it as of right now.
